Enjoy a round of golf at the beautiful, nearby (20minutes) Highlands Golf Course. Beginning with the first hole, a par 5, 525-yard downhill sloping fairway, golfers of all handicaps will enjoy The Highlands golf course design. All along the way through 18 holes, the course is surrounded by many tall pines, narrow fairways and unique greens with tiered landings.

Landes Performing Arts Center

Attending any of the following events? Wildernest Inn offers 10% discount on accommodation excluding major holidays or the Month of October! (not available with any other “Special”) Landes Arts Center has released it’s schedule of spring events. An accessible new facility featuring a 300 seat auditorium with gallery and exhibit space, available to organizations, schools, and others for concerts, meetings, art shows and workshops. Grant County Arts Council Inc. is a 501-c-3 nonprofit volunteer organization bringing quality arts and history events to our community and our schools. Formed in 1977 and headquartered in Petersburg, West Virginia, GCAC provides our citizens events in instrumental and vocal music, dance, theater, visual arts, historical enactments, literature, poetry, storytelling and crafts.
